This Privacy Policy explains how Sherpa Food and Beverage LLC (“Sherpa Coffee,” “we,” “us”), a Colorado company based in Arvada, Colorado, collects and uses information when you visit drinksherpacoffee.com, write a review, or contact us.
Information we collect
- Reviews. When you write a review we store your star rating, title, review text, and any photos or videos you choose to upload.
- Google sign-in. If you choose to sign in with Google to write a review, we receive your name, profile photo and email address from Google. We use your name and profile photo to show who wrote the review. Guests can review without signing in and only provide the name they type.
- Messages. If you email us or use our contact form, we receive your name, email address and whatever you include in your message.
- Technical information. To prevent spam and abuse of the reviews feature, we keep a one-way, scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address. We also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, which uses cookies and collects information such as pages visited, device and approximate location. When you choose a language, we save that choice in your browser so the site opens in the same language next time.
- QR code scans. When you scan one of our QR codes, we count the scan anonymously — the time, the type of device and the approximate city — to see which locations work best. We use a small cookie with a random number only to tell first scans from repeat ones. We do not collect your name, email, IP address or any other personal information.
What is shown publicly
- Your review rating, title and text, and the date it was posted.
- Your name, and your Google profile photo if you signed in with Google.
- Photos and videos you upload with a review are shown publicly on the site. Please don’t upload anything you don’t want others to see.
Your email address is never shown publicly. It is used only to identify your account and is never displayed with your review.
How we use information
We use your information to publish and moderate reviews, reply to reviews and messages, prevent spam and fraud, improve the website, and send emails you have signed up for. We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run the site, including Netlify (hosting, sign-in and data storage), Google (sign-in and analytics) and Shopify (orders, payments and email sign-up). Orders placed through our Shopify checkout are also covered by Shopify’s privacy policy. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Your choices and removing your data
You can ask us to remove your review, its photos and videos, or any other data we hold about you at any time. Email hello@drinksherpacoffee.com with the name shown on your review and roughly when you posted it, and we’ll take care of it. You can also ask what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
